A sensory room
is a structured therapeutic space designed to support children’s development by providing controlled sensory experiences. Based on the principles of Sensory Integration, it uses elements like lighting, textures, and movement to help children regulate their emotions, improve focus, and enhance participation in daily activities. In a school setting, it promotes self-regulation, learning readiness, and overall well-being in a supportive environment.
